Welcome to the MPC Image Submission Hub

The Mandurah Photography Club Hub is your one-stop place to submit both Digital and Print entries for our monthly exhibitions. It makes the appraisal process simpler for members, helps streamline judging, and gives you year-round access to your submitted images. Once each exhibition is completed, you’ll also be able to browse all of the submitted photographs.

Only Club Members are able to log in to this site. If you would like to join the Mandurah Photography Club please go to Mandurahphotography.club and complete the member application form.

Print Entry Reminder

If you're entering the Print category, please upload a JPEG version of your print to the PhotoClub.Digital Hub by 12:00 pm (midday) on the day of the exhibition.

Important: The uploaded digital image is not used by the judges to assess your print. It is recorded solely for cataloguing entries and documenting awards.

Why upload print images?

Maintaining a digital record of print entries allows the club to:

  • Keep accurate competition records

  • Archive awarded images

  • Prepare entries for external competitions, including PrintWest and the APS Australia Cup

If you have any difficulty uploading your images, please contact the Competition Director at digital@mandurahphotography.club. We’re happy to help.

Zoom Burst 11 November 2026 Zoom Burst

Zoom burst photography is a dynamic technique that creates a sense of high-speed motion, explosion, or abstraction by changing your lens's focal length while the shutter is open. This technique transforms static subjects into high-energy, abstract art pieces.

  • 13 January 2027
Macro/ Close Up Photography 13 January 2027 Macro/ Close Up Photography

Macro and close-up photography uncovers a hidden, invisible world by magnifying tiny details that the naked human eye normally misses. This theme transforms ordinary, everyday textures into extraordinary, abstract landscapes.

    Visual Aesthetic and Impact

    • Extreme Intimacy: Reveals microscopic textures like skin pores, insect eyes, or leaf veins.
    • Abstract Minimalism: Simplifies chaotic scenes by focusing entirely on a single, isolated element.
    • Exaggerated Depth: Uses a razor-thin plane of focus to make subjects pop against buttery backgrounds.

Oil, Water, Paint abstract 10 February 2027 Oil, Water, Paint abstract

An Oil, Water, and Paint abstract theme is one of the most mesmerizing forms of macro photography. It relies on fluid dynamics and chemical rejection to create vivid, otherworldly landscapes that look like swirling galaxies or psychedelic cellular structures.Visual Aesthetic and Impact

Organic Fluidity: Captures ever-changing, fluid shapes that can never be perfectly replicated.

Intense Colour Contrast: Uses oil droplets as natural lenses that magnify and distort the paint underneath.

Micro-Cosmic Scale: Transforms a simple glass dish into a vast, sci-fi universe.

  • 10 March 2027
Long Exposure 10 March 2027 Long Exposure

Long exposure photography uses extended shutter speeds to blur moving elements while keeping stationary objects perfectly sharp. This theme manipulates time, transforming chaotic environments into smooth, surreal, and painterly compositions.

    Visual Aesthetic and Impact

    • Ethereal Motion: Turns crashing waves into misty fog and passing clouds into streaky, dramatic brushstrokes.
    • Light Painting: Transforms moving traffic into glowing ribbons of light and stars into circular trails across the sky.
    • Ghostly Absence: Blurs out walking crowds in busy tourist spots, leaving only the permanent architecture behind.
